It was during a photography course at the Fotovakschool Amsterdam in 2014 that I discovered the beauty of photography. Since then, I have regularly set out with my camera, always with great pleasure.
On this website, I share a selection of images that I value most. While putting together this portfolio, I noticed that my images naturally fell into three themes: Nature, People, and Culture. Images in which people are central are placed under ‘People’, even when they reflect culture, because in those moments it is the human presence – rather than the cultural context – that matters most to me.
Since 2019, I have made these images in Canada, Iceland, Scotland, Portugal, Spain, Belgium, India, Nepal, Germany, France, Finland, and my home country, the Netherlands.
Looking back on the past years, I realize how fortunate I have been to witness so much: quiet, powerful landscapes; unexpected yet meaningful encounters; and cultural traces that reflect the richness of human creativity. It remains special to capture such moments.
My thanks go to everyone I met along the way, and to all the places where I was welcomed. Creating this website felt like reliving many cherished moments. I look forward to continuing this journey – towards the next moment.
